Croatia will purchase from Israel 12 used F-16 fighters

Croatian authorities will acquire from Israel a squadron of F-16 combat fighters in the modification of “Barak”. This decision was made after the meeting of the National Defense Council, which took place on the evening of March 27, 2018.

Ukraine has completed the delivery of tanks “Oplot” to Thailand

On March 28, 2018, the news agency “Военное РФ” reported that the contract to supply to the militaries of Thailand with 49 Ukrainian tanks BM “Oplot-T” is completed. This was stated by the general director of GC Ukroboronprom Pavel Bukin.

The Inspectorate for Armaments of the Ministry of National Defense of Poland signed on March 27, 2018 with the Leonardo Group (Italy) a contract for the supply of additional training aircraft for in-depth flight training M-346 Master (Polish designation “Belik” / Bielik).

Ukraine plans to purchase 55 French helicopters

During the visit to Kiev of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, Jean-Yves Le Drian, on March 23, 2018, a preliminary agreement was signed for the purchase of 55 helicopters from Airbus Helicopters in France, to be used by the police, border services and the state emergency service of Ukraine.

Saudi Arabia plans to buy additional fighters “Typhoon”

Center for analysis of world arms trade, 12th of March. BAE Systems on March 9 announced the signing of a memorandum of intent by representatives of the governments of the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia, providing for negotiations on the purchase of 48 Typhoon fighters. According to Jane’s Defense Weekly, the document was signed by Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud and British Defense Minister Gavin Williamson during a meeting in London.
