In order to develop the sphere of information security and electronic industry, by Resolution No. 221 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of April 26, 2018, the RSE on the right of economic management the “Institute of Information and Computing Technologies” of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan was defined as a national institute for development in the field of information security.
The main tasks of the national development institute in the field of information security are: participation in the implementation of state policy, the development of standardization documents, the implementation of scientific and technical activities, the implementation of scientific and technical expertise of projects, training, retraining and advanced training in information security.
