«Tulamashzavod» mastered release of an export variant of antitank guided missile «Cornet»

According to the Center for the Analysis of International Arms Trade (CAMTO) from March 1, 2018, Tulamashzavod (Russia, Tula) has mastered the production of a new export version of the “Cornet” ATGM. This, according to “RIA News”, was informed by the director of joint-stock company “Tulamashzavod” (member of the Research and production assotiation “High-Precision Complexes”) Evgeny Dronov.

“We mastered a missile that we did not do before. This is an anti-tank missile “Cornet”. We do it for export, “E.Dronov said. He noted that the plant works “on Saturdays and Sundays”.

“We do not feel sanctions. From 10 to 12% annually add to the production”, – quotes “RIA News” director of the Tula enterprise.

Anti-tank missile system (ATMS) “Cornet-E” is designed to defeat tanks, armored fighting vehicles with dynamic protection and destruction of fortifications. The complex is also capable of hitting low-flying targets. The maximum range of fire is 5.5 km.
