The Scientific and production association “PromTech” presented its new development to the aviation community – an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the PT-100 helicopter type, with a take-off weight of 300 kg, was told on Thursday to the “Interfax-AVN” at the defense industrial complex.

“For the first time, a new UAV was shown at the recent All-Army stage of the Aviadart-2018 competition at Dyaghilevo airfield in the Ryazan region, where it was displayed as part of a static exhibit”, said the agency’s interlocutor.

He noted that the device was developed constructively in accordance with a pine scheme. UAV can carry a payload up to 80 kg. UAV can perform flights at altitudes of up to 1000 m at a wind speed of up to 10 m/s. The radius of the action of UAV, according to the developers, is 100 km, and the maximum duration of the flight – at least 4 hours.

According to the expert in the field of unmanned systems Denis Fedutinov, in its present form this device is most likely not a ready-to-launch serial model, but a prototype that is designed to attract the attention of potential customers interested in the development of this project.

“In the case of continuing development, the UAV can receive significant differences from the prototype presented, including other weight and size characteristics, which will be conditioned by the need to adapt to the specific tasks identified by the customer”, Fedutinov said.
