On the basis of the ordinance of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan №704 from November 2016 RSE “Kazarnaulyexport (Kazspetsexport)” (hereinafter the Enterprise) was transferred to the Ministry of defense and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The enterprise was established by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to ensure the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and operates in the areas of import and export of weapons, military equipment and military property.

Elimination through destruction, utilization, burial of weapons, military equipment and other unused military property (UMP), letting the defense objects, the implementation (including export) and purchase (including import) of weapons, military equipment, ammunition, spare and component parts to them, products, equipment and relevant dual use

Goals, objectives and directions of activity of the Enterprise for 2017-2021 are defined on the Messages of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to people of Kazakhstan “the Third modernization of Kazakhstan: global competitiveness,” dated January 31, 2017, “Kazakhstan in the new global reality: growth, reforms and development”, dated November 30, 2015, “Нұрлы жол – path to future”, dated November 11, 2014, Strategy of development of the Republic Kazakhstan until 2050, Strategy of national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In the medium term the Enterprise sets itself the following objectives:
- Assistance in providing weapons and military equipment to the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan to ensure the defense and security of the State, as well as the development of export potential of enterprises of the military –industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MIC);
- A prompt release of arsenals, bases and military units of the Armed Forces other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan from unused military equipment.
- The release of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan from uncharacteristic functions.
