In the period of 15-16th of May, 2018 in Moscow the next conference “PHDays-2018” was held. The number of participants of which traditionally exceeded 5 thousand people. The conference discussed the problems and trends in the field of information security.
In this conference were participated Representatives of the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Technical Service of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, JSC “National Information Technologies”, JSC “Kazpost”, The General prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Within the framework of the conference, the session “Information Security Development in the CIS Countries” was held, at which the state of information security in the CIS countries was discussed. The session was attended by Mustagulov Talgat Sarsenbayevich, Head of the Monitoring Department for critically important objects of the Information and Communication Infrastructure of the Committee for Information Security of the MDAI of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Mustagulov T.S. informed the participants of the session about the adoption of amendments to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on improving information security, spoke about the establishment of the National Information Security Coordination Center, new market entities that will provide information security services, such as the Operational Information Security Centers, the Computer Incident Response Service .
