Goals and objectives of the Enterprise for the medium-term period of development
The enterprise was established by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to provide the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and works in the areas of import and export of weapons and military equipment, as well as military equipment.
Strategic directions of the Enterprise activity
Disposal through destruction, disposal, burial of weapons, military equipment and other unused military equipment (UME), leasing of defence facilities, sale (including export) and purchase (including import) of weapons, military equipment, ammunition, spare and components for them, products, equipment and related dual-use technologies
The enterprise assists the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan in maintaining the defense capacity of the country.
The purposes, tasks and activities of the Enterprise for 2017 – 2021 are defined proceeding from Messages of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the people of Kazakhstan of January 31, 2017 “The third modernization of Kazakhstan: Global competitiveness, “dated November 30, 2015” Kazakhstan in a new global reality: Growth, Reforms, Development, “November 11, 2014 Nurly Zhol – the Way to the Future, Development Strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan till 2050, National Security Strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.Республики Казахстан.
The objectives of the Enterprise for the medium term are as follows:
- Assistance in providing weapons and military equipment to the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan to ensure the defence and security of the country, as well as development of export potential of enterprises of the defense-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan (DIC);
- Operational release of arsenals, bases and military units of the Armed Forces of other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan from unused military equipment.
- Release of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan from non-military functions.
