This year significantly will grow the number of participants of Army international games “Army-2018”В. This was reported by the minister of defense of Russian Federation, general of army, Sergey Shoigu at the conference. According to him, along with an expansion of army competitions, the number of participants is growing up. This time will be 181 commands from 32 states at competitions. It is almost one third more than in the last year.
Army International games will be held from the 28th of July till 11th of August at the territory of 7 States. This year, Iran and Armenia will be the organizers of the competitions, apart from Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China and Kazakhstan. “Military servicemen of Vietnam, Algeria, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sudan and Philippines will show their skills for the first time”, – stated Sergey Shoigu.
He recalled, that before the opening of the Games there is exactly a month. During this time, according to chief of military agency it is necessary to do everything, for creation of maximally comfortable conditions not only for participants but also for numerous fans of army sport”, – concluded the Minister of defense.
