On December 27, 2017, the Air Force of the Republic of Kazakhstan was replenished with two units of the two highly maneuverable multi-purpose fighters Su-30SM. The aircraft were manufactured by the Russian company Irkut Research and Production Corporation (Irkut Corporation).
In order to fulfill the state defense order of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Framework Contract was signed with the Irkut Corporation on deliveries to the Su-30SM in 2016-2018, while it should be noted that aircraft deliveries to our republic are made at domestic Russian prices.
At present, the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues work on further development of military-technical cooperation with Russia.
