Russia will start deliveries of armament and military technique to Armenia within the new defense loan worth 100 US dollars. This, as “Ria news” says, was reported to journalists in the frame of exhibition ArmHitech-2018 the Deputy General Director of the FS MTC Vladimir Drozhzhov.
«They are envisaged on the 2018 year», –he said, answering on the appropriate question of the journalist.
Last December the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed the Law on ratification of agreement on Russian defense loan worth 100 million US dollars with a maturity of 15 years.
Except this, as agency recalls, in June 2015 an agreement on provision by Russia of the state export loan worth 200 million US dollars to Armenia was signed for the purchase of military products of Russian production. Within this loan, as the Armenian Ministry of defense reported, 18 contracts were signed.
As the Armenian Minister of Defense, Vigen Sarkisyan, reported the Erevan is intended to purchase the weapon of “strategic deterrence” from the Moscow within the new Russian defense loan, – “Ria News” informs.
