The Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan on Thursday at a plenary meeting adopted the law “On ratification of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on military cooperation”, the Interfax-Kazakhstan correspondent reported.
The agreement was signed in Ankara on the 13th of September, 2018.
The main purpose of the document is the further development of long-term military cooperation on the basis of principles of equal rights and mutual benefits between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
Interaction between two States includes such spheres of military cooperation as military trainings and studying, holding of joint trainings, defense industry, peacekeeping operations, military, scientific and technical researches and line of other directions.
Under the agreement, the parties will develop annual cooperation plans.
