We inform you that in accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 18, 2018, under No. 356, the functions for licensing activities in the field of the circulation of arms, military equipment and certain types of weapons have been transferred from the Ministry for Investment and Development to the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The list of state services transferred to the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
o “Issuance of a license to carry out activities for the development, production, repair, acquisition and sale of ammunition, weapons and military equipment, spare parts, components and devices for them, as well as special materials and equipment for their production, including installation, commissioning, modernization , installation, use, storage, repair and maintenance”;
o “Issuance of a license to carry out activities for the liquidation (destruction, utilization, burial) and processing of released ammunition, weapons, military equipment, special means”;
o “Issuance of a license to carry out activities for the development, production, repair, trade, purchase of hand-held small arms and cartridges for it”.
