From the 23rd to 26th of May, 2018, V International Exhibition of Weapons and Military-Technical Property “KADEX-2018” will be held on the territory of the military sector of the International Airport of Astana.
For the first time, the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the organizer of the “KADEX” Exhibition.
It will be attended by domestic and foreign enterprises of the defense-industrial complex and space industry, leading design bureaus and research institutes in the field of information security.
In the year of the 20th anniversary of the capital of Kazakhstan – the city of Astana, the anniversary exhibition “KADEX” will be held in an updated format.
In addition to the demonstration of weapons, the main emphasis will also be placed on the business part of the program. Within the framework of the scientific and business program, it is planned to hold plenary and sectional meetings, conferences, roundtables, which will allow specialists from all countries to exchange views on topical issues of defense and security, development of the world cosmonautics, and discuss problems of ensuring cyber security at the present stage.
A distinctive innovation of the exhibition will be the holding of the International Forum “Days of Space in Kazakhstan” as one of the components of the exhibition “KADEX – 2018”. For the first time at the Exhibition there will be presented a separate pavilion dedicated to the achievements of domestic and world cosmonautics.
In the business program of the exhibition will be held the conference “Cyber and Digital Security” and “Advanced Def Tech”. These events will become one of the central dialogue venues of the Exhibition, at which specialists and experts from around the world will discuss topical issues of the defense industry, military-technical cooperation, space activities and information security.
On the first day of the exhibition, there will be a solemn ceremony of stamping out a postage stamp dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the creation of Kazkosmos with a special postmark on the first day envelope with the emblem “KADEX – 2018”. Anyone can buy a commemorative stamp and an envelope with a postmark on the territory of the Exhibition.
The main focus of the exhibition is on the practical component. In addition to official events and business program, it is planned to sign a number of documents – memorandums and agreements in the field of military-technical cooperation, space activities and cyber security with a number of organizations and companies from near and far abroad.
The “KADEX – 2018” exhibition will become a platform for constructive dialogue between business representatives, developers and manufacturers of military products, specialists from relevant ministries and departments of various countries, regardless of interstate relations and foreign policy views.
In addition, for a wide range of public, the “KADEX – 2018” Exhibition will be open for visits to May 25-26 this year.
