Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are expanding bilateral cooperation

On April 4-5, 2018, the Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Atamkulov paid a working visit to Tajikistan, within the framework of which issues of cooperation between the two countries in the spheres of the defense industry complex, space activities and cyber security were discussed with the leadership of the government and a number of ministries and departments of the republic.

In particular, meetings were held with Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan K.Rasulzoda, Secretary of the Security Council A.Kakhhorov, Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sh.Bobozoda, Minister of Interior R.Rahimzoda, Minister of Agriculture S.Izzatula, Director of the Agency for State Material reserves N.Ahmadzoda, Chairman of the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy K.Hakimzoda, Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense R.Nazarzoda, Head of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan B.Zuhurov, as well as the leadership of the Ministry of Defense.

In general, the Tajik side showed great interest to the proposals of the Kazakh side to expand bilateral cooperation, including the opportunities of Kazakhstan’s enterprises.
