Egyptian authorities are waiting for the arms manufacturers at a new military exhibition Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX-2018), which will be held from the 3rd– to 5th of December, 2018 in Cairo.
To Mil.Press about this said Mike Sopper, marketing director of the Middle East region of the company Clarion, which organizes the event. According to his words, relevant invitations have already been sent also to potential exhibitors from Russia, now negotiations are underway.
M. Sopper added, that participation in the exhibition already have confirmed by the USA, Federal Republic of Germany, France, Italy, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Czech Republic.
Major-General of the Armed Forces of Egypt Mohsen Abdel Nabi on the 11th of December, 2017 stated, that EDEX-2018 will be the first event of such scale in Egypt and will combine the theme of ground, naval and air military technique. “We intend to make EDEX the number one event in the Middle East”, – Abdel-Nabi added.
Organizers expect at a three-day exhibition in the Egyptian International Exhibition Center of Cairo about 300 exhibitors from different countries and more than 10 thousand participants. The business program, conferences and separate program for military delegations have been planned.
