On the 14-15th of June Astana the «IoT World Summit Eurasia» Summit will host in Astana

With the official support of the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the “IoT World Summit Eurasia” Summit will take place, at which the best world practices of the Internet of things and Digitalization of industrial enterprises, as well as urban life-support facilities, will be presented.

The World Digital Summit promises to become one of the most practical events of the year, presenting world practice, technologies, experience of digital transformation and transition to new business models on behalf of industrialists, farmers, businesses and city administrations from Europe, Asia, USA, Kazakhstan and Russia. In total more than 12 countries of the world.

35 functioning digital projects will be represented in the Summit program in such sectors of the economy as: mining, energy, oil and gas, housing and communal services, engineering, transport, smart cities, agro-industrial complex, etc.

Key speeches of the program include the following topics:

Smart City: How a combination of intellectual data and content is used to maximize the management and efficiency of urban elements; how to build an integrated security system within a smart city? This will be told by In Dong Cho, CEO of Seoul Innovation (Seoul’s metropolitan office) by the example of the most technologically advanced city of Seoul (South Korea); Peter Jackson – Chief Officer for the data of Southern Water will tell about the experience of the UK.

Smart Ecology: Karl-Philip Cohenegrahts, Chief Strategy Officer in Ghent, Belgium, will talk about the modernization of Belgian cities and plans for their absolute non-waste.

Smart Industry 4.0: Singapore’s experience will be presented by Wilson Dan, co-founder of the Singapore Consortium for Production; The Russian experience of introducing information systems in the agro-industrial complex will be told by Vladimir Konyrev, the head of the Information Systems Implementation Department at RAV AgroPro.

Smart Agro and Industrial Internet of Things: Peri Subramanya, IoT Manager, will represent the experience of the company of Monsanto (USA).

Smart Industry and the Industrial Internet of Things: Intellectual production with IoT support can provide transparency in resources, assets, processes, improve productivity and improve return on investment. Along with international experience, the program will present a significant contribution of Kazakhstan’s companies with successful achievements in the introduction of Internet things at their enterprises.

About the projects of Smart Almaty and the city’s innovations in the interaction of city authorities and residents will tell the leaders of the Development Center of Almaty.

International financial center “Astana”, holding ChocoFamily, GVA, National Bank of Kazakhstan will tell about financial instruments, implementation of innovations related to sales, the impact of digital technologies and mobile applications on services.

The experience of introducing smart meters at industrial enterprises in Kazakhstan, which work is based on the technology of Narrow Band Internetof Things data transfer, will be told by experts from the company Kar-Tel LLP (Beeline Kazakhstan).

Within the framework of the Summit, there will also be a contest of innovation projects StartupDay, organized with the support of ACF “Park of Innovation Technologies” (TechGarden).

Projects of Kazakhstan, Russia and CIS countries are invited to participate in the competitive program. The total prize fund of the contest is 4 million tenge.

Among the invited to the Summit there are such high-tech companies of global scale as GE, IBM, Microsoft, Uber, Amazon, Honeywell, Google, Oracle, Siemens, as well as young and dynamically developing hi-tech companies from Russia, the US, Singapore, China, India, Germany, Great Britain and others.
