On the 15th of August, this year in Astana, a joint board of the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held, during which issues of the development of the national defense industrial complex were discussed.
The Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Beibut Atamkulov, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurlan Yermekbayev, as well as the heads of enterprises of the domestic defense industrial complex took part in the meeting.
It is noted that the ensuring of country’s defense capability and national security depends on effective work of domestic defense enterprises.
As a result of the meeting, specific assignments were given, the implementation of which would equip the Kazakh army with modern weapons and military equipment.
